CA Foster Youth Tax Credit
|
Caregivers and adult supporters of foster youth age 18-25 are encourage to help foster youth apply for and claim their foster youth tax credit of up to $1083. Child Welfare Disaster Assistance Response Fund
|
California Alliance of Caregivers is co-sponsoring SB 589 (Alvarado-Gil) with Children Now. SB 589 will establish a statewide Child Welfare Disaster Response Fund. This fund will meet the urgent needs of children and youth in foster care and their caregivers, including transportation, interim housing, and replacement of essential belongings.
